Bellville food tour – African & Arabic

Exploring and enjoying African food and traditions, this tour is heart-warming and tummy-filling! Middle Eastern style food, traders, mosque, traditional healers…we will meet, visit and learn from carefully selected hosts who Dennis Molewa has got to know and admire. Dennis will lead the tour. He started Unexplored Cape Town; his award winning story telling and passion to support culinary heritage goes hand in hand with advancing greater social equity.

Following the success of Dennis’ Taste the Mother City for Culture Connect, this is new tour for us. It is already gaining media and international interest.

There are long term plans for improving Bellville’s urban landscape; short term there are murals but it means authentic traders – Somali in particular. Dennis calls this tour Little Mogadishu.
