Magnificent murals created for the International Public Art Festival to minuscule mosaics and a chunk of the Berlin wall, there is a huge variety of art to enjoy walking the streets of Cape Town. First time visitors and long term Capetonians say it is a great way to experience the city centre.
We start at the top of town on Jamieson Street at Stefan Smit’s , (off Buitensingel Street), down to the gritty east side enjoying art created over the years.
During Covid I started guiding for the street art festival (2021) and for ten years I have been a city walking guide. I combine my knowledge to create a route and point out details that will open your eyes.
