South African Parliament: Art and Heritage – back by request. Gain a fascinating insight into South Africa’s extraordinary history, art and politics, with a huge variety to see, including the American style National Assembly, Levaillant’s drawings, and the 120-metre Keiskamma Tapestry. Our host is Lila Komnick who has worked in Parliament for over 30 years, joined by former MP Peter Soal.
Lunch is very close-by at a private venue, 6 Spin St, which was designed by Sir Herbert Baker who also did one of Parliament’s extensions. Our host is Robert Mulders, chef and gallerist.
