Sir Herbert Baker Architecture Walkabout – Cape Town’s Centre
Sir Herbert Baker became the dominant force of South African architecture when he worked here in 1892-1912. Heritage architect Dr. André van Graan, leads us on our walking tour that begins at St George’s Anglican Cathedral, goes down Adderley St, Spin St and Wale St, ending at the Belmond Mount Nelson with a special lunch in the private, spectacular Sherwood dining room.
